The Homeopathic Medicine and Sciences Program is an intensive
full-time professional program intended for those wishing to become
practicing homeopaths as well as those that would like to further
their knowledge in this field. Students in the Homeopathic Medicine
and Sciences Program are taught case-oriented, patient-based
medicine in order to help them develop the practical skills required
to work in today's health care system.
The curriculum - an integrated lecture, e-learning and clinic
experience - comprises:
Principles and Practice of Homeopathy including extensive time in
Teaching with standardized patients.
The principles of conventional medicine and public health including
anatomy and physiology and pathology.
A thesis and critical appraisal of research methodology, clinical
trials, surveys and epidemiological studies.
The past, present and future of complementary/integrative medicine;
Business and practice management.
The Clinical part of the program
Starts in the first year with a focus in the third year.
Designed to prepare the student for a future homeopathic practice.
Students practice at the College.
Fully supervised by experienced homeopaths.
Students who successfully complete the entire classroom program and
examinations, will receive the Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and
Sciences (D.H.M.S.) from the Homeopathic College of Canada.
